Turner Field
Turner Field was originally constructed for the 1996 Centennial Summer Olympics and, after the Games, became the home facility of the Atlanta Braves. Seating more than 50,000, Turner Field combines the nostalgia and the atmosphere of old-time baseball with a state-of-the-art environment.
"The Ted," as it is known locally, is one of the most interactive parks in Major League Baseball. Fans are encouraged to come early to experience The Chop House restaurant, game-filled pavilions, Scouts Alley and Cartoon Network's Tooner Field. In 2005, Turner Field underwent a $12 million expansion that included the installment of the largest and tallest video display in any stadium in the world.
The Ivan Allen Jr. Braves Museum & Hall of Fame showcases more than 600 artifacts that trace the team's history, as well as tours that depart every half hour and take visitors to the Braves locker room, press box and other areas of the ballpark.
